Questions Parents Ask Us Most

It depends on the school and whether your child is travelling as part of a group or individually. Across our 9 partner schools, ages range from 8 to 18. Group bookings generally accept younger students than individual placements; several schools also apply extra conditions to 18-year-olds (they must still be in secondary education). Residential means living on the school campus, usually in shared rooms with shared bathrooms. Ensuite is the same, but with a private or semi-private bathroom, sometimes in a separate building a short walk or shuttle from the school. Homestay means living with a local family off-campus, in a shared room, typically from age 12 up. We explain the exact setup for each school on our Accommodation page.

At our 8 Eurovision-network schools, every course includes English lessons, full-board accommodation, weekly excursions, group-leader supervision (1 leader per 10 students) and an end-of-course certificate. Oxford Royale, a separate academic-enrichment provider, runs on its own inclusions, ask us to confirm exactly what's covered before you book. Flights, travel insurance and any visa fees are not included at any school unless we tell you otherwise in writing.

This depends on your child's nationality and the length of the course. Short courses of a few weeks are usually covered by the UK's short-term study or standard visitor rules rather than a full Student visa, but requirements change by nationality and by year. We send every family a personalised checklist once you enquire, and we strongly recommend confirming the current requirement with the UK government or your nearest UK visa application centre before booking flights. Our included ratio is 1 group leader for every 10 students, on top of the school's own residential and teaching staff. Evening and weekend activities are supervised; students are not free to leave campus unaccompanied unless the school's own policy for older teenagers allows it.

Every partner school has an on-site or on-call procedure for illness and injury, and our UK office can reach any school directly during the course. We ask every family to arrange their own travel insurance covering medical treatment, this is not included in the course price.

Course lengths vary by school, most of our Eurovision-network schools run in 1-2 week blocks that can be combined; Oxford Royale runs 2, 4 or 6-week blocks. Tell us your dates and we'll only shortlist schools that can actually accommodate them.
