Football + English Summer Course

Michael Owen's Red Star Football School combines 15 hours of English lessons with 15 hours of football coaching a week, on the same countryside campus as Oakham School. Coaching is written by former England international Michael Owen and overseen by ex-Liverpool captain Mark Wright.

Who It Suits

Students aged 8-17 (groups) or 12-17 (individuals) who play football and want a summer that combines the sport with genuine English-language progress, open to all abilities and any club allegiance, boys and girls both welcome.

What's Included

  • 15 hours of English lessons and 15 hours of football coaching a week, split across three coaching levels.
  • A full-day excursion to a London football stadium.
  • A free kit pack (shirt, shorts, socks) and a personalised drinks bottle.
  • An individual video assessment from a coach at the end of the course, plus a signed shirt as part of the closing presentation.
  • Residential accommodation on the Oakham School campus.
